It sounds as though you have little spare time. Certainly you spend that precious time doing something other than correcting my son. It seems it would be much more beneficial to spend time with Shi.

Did you receive the latest shipment from Côte d’Ivoire? It is quite a sight to behold. I am not certain if I have ever obtained such a plentiful harvest of hot diamonds. It is almost a shame the locals didn’t get to see it before it shipped.

Ahhh, so they’ve been shipped, have they?
As far as I know, I’ve yet to receive them, however I’m certain Xiahou Dun has taken care of business. Mind you, if you’re fascinated with them, then I suppose I should at least see them once or twice. 

They are worth the time, I assure you. If they are not there already, I would give them a day or two. Any longer and they will be forced to answer to me.

[Sima Yi’s gaze returns to his handheld, his fingers moving furiously.]

“I see. Zhao can be… very frustrating. But I will admit, he has his moments where he shows potential. And Shi is always reliable. I admire him for that.” Upon being asked about school, she smiles a bit. Yuanji enjoys talking about school. “This semester is going very well so far. I don’t mean to brag, but I’m at the top of my class. Many of the other students look to me for help if they have any trouble.”

That is true, though I prefer avoiding his nonsense if at all possible. I am fortunate to have people like you to correct him in my absence.

[A smile grows on his lips as Yuanji speaks of school.] That is impressive. I can only hope some of your work ethic rubs off on Zhao. I am proud of you, Yuanji.

No, no, it isn’t Zhao today, sir. Ahaha. I see you’re as busy as always, so I’ll try not to bother you for long. How have you been? I hope you haven’t been overworking. And I certainly hope Zhao hasn’t been giving you any trouble either.

I am almost surprised. [His eyes shift back down to his handheld.] I am well. Despite any irritations Zhao causes on a daily basis, I find myself to be quite content. Business is flourishing, and at the very least, Shi is worth spending time with.

[He spares her a glance.] I would like to know how school is going for you.
